Update from the City of Perrysburg: Once a month there is a post from the City in the Perrysburg Messenger Journal. If you see a yard that has unsightly weeds or high grass, you may call the City at this time. The article is printed on the last Wednesday of each month and residents have until the 1st Wednesday of month to take care of their lawns. If yards are not cared for by that time, neighbors can call the City and a notice will go out to the homeowner. Once the notice has been received, the homeowner has 5 days to take care of their lawn. After 5 days, the City will come back to check the status of the lawn and if the yard is still in disrepair, the City will take before and after pictures, mow, and send the bill to the homeowner.
