She was General Contractor for two jobs: kitchen remodel and shower/tub renovation. All sorts of problems came up. First she coordinated the shower work and overlooked several important mishaps e.g., plumbing wrongly installed on the tub, crooked tiles etc. I gave her another chance with the kitchen remodel, my mistake! This person who was supposed to oversee the project never paid attention to the material selection (see above regarding Cutting Edge) and install (did not fully inspect countertop and missed the chipped area that I referred to above in the Cutting Edge review). She should have also carefully examined the invoice and reject the marble material which was installed instead of granite (or at least notify me right away - instead, she completely ignored or otherwise did not notice). I was told that the workers even commented on the aesthetics of the "marble" and this didn't raise a flag with her. In addition, she did not provide any design perspective and went with cheap selections for cabinet work, which I had to revise myself. She did not resolve issues with sub-contractors as the liaison to them, per signed contract. Overall, I would NOT hire this contractor again and pay her 15% of the project cost for work that she under-delivered.
